I’m a coach, mentor and deeply relational guide for people and leaders who want to grow with purpose.
I help individuals and organisations navigate change, overcome barriers, and move forward with clarity, courage and self-awareness. Whether you're a business owner, leader, or someone who knows you were made for more, I create the kind of safe space where growth becomes possible.
With over 25 years of experience in the human services sector including government and non-government roles, I bring a  background in social work, psychology, leadership development and trauma-informed practice. But more than that, I bring presence, insight and the ability to translate complex challenges

into simple, meaningful steps forward. I help people reflect, recalibrate, and rise.
I’m passionate about seeing people come alive - to get unstuck, build emotional intelligence, navigate relational dynamics, and lead with authenticity and impact. I offer honest feedback, deep encouragement, and a steady belief in what’s possible for you.

Off the clock, you’ll find me walking by the sea, enjoying a glass of Champagne, or creating beauty in the spaces around me. But no matter where I am, I’m always holding space for people to grow and to become who they were made to be.

Chayah is Born

Or more accurately, reborn. For years, Chayah existed quietly alongside her work in other organisations. she'd tried to let it go, reasoning that a steady income and external security were more sensible. But the nudge wouldn’t leave. There came a moment of decision:

Jen's coaching journey began when others started to seek her deliberately for guidance. Jen honed her craft under a seasoned mentor, learning through experience, trial and error, and a hunger to grow. But it was during a painful season - working in a toxic work culture under dysfunctional leadership - that her vision clarified. That experience, combined with her own near-burnout, reshaped both her personal and professional priorities. She realised that she not only had the tools to do better, but a calling to create the kind of environment she longed for: one where people could flourish.

The Fire of Transformation

The Call to Equip and Lead

From her early days in Child Protection to leadership roles in community and not-for-profit organisations, she was always drawn to wise mentors - those who could teach her how to lead well. As she transitioned from competent clinician to team leader and manager,

As a teenager preparing to enter university to study in the human services field, Jen was already aware of something deeply important: people need safe spaces to heal, grow, and discover their identity. From her own lived experience, she understood that everyone longs to be seen, heard, and supported - to belong somewhere they feel validated and valued.

The Seed Was Planted

I began to navigate the complexities of leadership with curiosity and care. Along the way, I developed a reputation as a trusted sounding board and thoughtful guide—someone who led with both strength and safety.

Would I keep waiting for others to recognise and reward my value, or would I back myself—trusting the experience, insight, and vision I carried?
So I stepped out. Chayah became my full-time focus: a space where safety is foundational, growth is intentional, and every individual is seen as someone with purpose and potential.
The name Chayah means “to live” or “to breathe life into.” That’s what we do—through coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and team culture change. This is a place where people come to remember who they are and become who they were born to be.

I work alongside business owners who are ready to move from scattered and overwhelmed to structured and thriving. My background spans a wide range of industries, from photography, handmade and fashion, to education, finance, insurance, retail and coaching. Whether supporting a startup or working within established organisations, I’ve learned how to balance the creative spark with operational structure - and how to translate big ideas into actionable steps that actually work.

I’m passionate about seeing small business owners thrive - not just in their work, but in their whole lives. I believe that creativity and practicality aren’t opposites; they’re partners. And when they’re balanced well, they unlock the freedom and growth you need to move forward.

At Chayah, I lead the behind-the-scenes processes - running our social media, systems, and AI tools. I bring the same mix of practical structure and creative flair that I offer to the businesses I coach.

When I’m not coaching or designing, you’ll most likely find me twirling in a dance studio, getting lost in a creative project, or dreaming up my next big idea over coffee. For me, life is about finding balance, fun, and a little beauty in the everyday.
